X'mas Gift 2016
Every year I have to think of what to make for X'mas and I found this shrink plastic art which is kinda interesting. Did some research in Youtube, bought simple material from Daiso and test on it. It was fun so I thought why not, just make this. So, I bought all the materials, I bought a hot air gun too because I am not sure the oven will turn toxic or not if I use it too many times to shrink plastic. If you search Youtube, you will find many instructions which you will think that it is easy. I roughly counted, I have made 108 gifts and I have around 30 spoiled pieces, haha.

Crochet Snorlax
This is a made-to-order Snorlax, as per request by my besties for her to give her colleague on X'mas. I actually rejected at first as I am unable to find any small & nice version online. The best look-a-like Snorlax seriously will go to Mia's Atelier in my opinion. I found her page and bought the yarns, but.... ended up in a mess, the head and body does not match and unable to crochet together. I gave up and pull off all the yarn. I guess subconsciously, I do not like big crochet toy. So I search around again and found this mini version which was in Etsy which is not free. But since I am unable to find any other that captured my attention, I paid for this pattern. And yeah, this came out great and my besties also said this is cute. She bought 2 and therefore I only made 2, I am not sure if I will make another one.

Crochet Baby Bear Booties
Previously I made a few simple baby booties for my new born niece and I was telling myself that I most likely will not be making anymore. But who knows I saw this! This is simply too cute to resist not to make! This is for 3-6 months old but I think is still kinda big for her.I bought the DIY set from Taobao as it's cheap and comes with video instruction link. The material wise is good also, very soft yarn. Hope my brother & sister-in-law like it too. The only thing that I am afraid of is it might be too warm to wear for Singapore weather. Never mind, I will tell her to wear in Shopping Centre XD

Crochet Amigurumi Pikachu
Seriously I did find more original Pikachu online but either they are too big or too complicated for me to make, or another reason is the pattern is not free. Those who knows me will know that I usually find my pattern online and only look for free version. This Amigurumi version is one of the cutest that I found online, of course there might be more but need to pay.

Crochet Amigurumi Squirtle
Nono, this is not the original Squirtle, this is the Amigurumi version, hence it will not look exactly like one in Pokemon. I prefer to make small version of pokemons so I can hang it on bag, can show off to people. This pattern can be found on Youtube, just search for crochet Amigurumi Squirtle. I think I must buy bigger eyes for these Amigurumi, should look more cuter. XD

Crochet Amigurumi Charmander
Seriously, before I make this, I tried to make a Snorlax which was supposed to be about 20cm tall. But after completing the different parts, it was not proportional at all after I attach the head to the body. Feeling angry, I detach everything and pull off the yarns. Then I started off to make a Charmander, luckily it came out nice and well. I think I am not good in making big items.😑

Crochet Poliwag
I think this is the best version that can be found online, pattern by Nicholes's Nerdy Knots. I wouldn't say the other versions are not cute, personally I think the poliwag made by Heartstringcrochet is cute too, look so innocent & round. But Nichole's version look most like the one featured in Pokemon.

Crochet Pokeballs Part 2
Ok! Now I have Pokeball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Master Ball & Love Ball (sold away before I took picture). So I assume I can catch a lot of pokemons with these balls? Next challenge will be crocheting 1 pokemon, as for which one..... why don't you make a guess? Hopefully I can crochet 1 successfully! Will update when it is completed.

Crochet Teru Teru Bozu
According to Japanese culture, Teru Teru Bozu, by hanging it upright, it is supposed to have magical powers to bring good weather and to stop or prevent a rainy day. Isn't it cute? But in Singapore, I will have to hang it upside down to pray for raining day.. haha...

Crochet Macarons
I whatsapp this picture to my friend and she scolded me, she thought it is real macarons before the picture loads, lol. Mixing up colours is a challenge and I simply love this challenge. Anyway, all macarons given out to my sister, brother, niece & newphews. Added a handphone chain on it so they can hang it anywhere they like. I have one on my bag too!

Crochet Roses
Finally completed my 2nd batch of crochet roses for Valentine day! First batch all given out to lady colleagues on Friday and some are on leave, so just nice, enough time to make more and give to those who are on leave. I think I made a total of about 25 roses to give out. I upgraded from origami rose to crochet rose and this crochet rose can definitely last longer than the origami ones! Most of them were surprised by this crochet rose as it is unique, don't you think so?

Crochet Gutetama
I like to showcase my DIY stuffs which all my friends knew. So my colleague's boss ask me if I know how to crochet Gutetama. I must admit I seriously do not know who/what is Gutetama if he ask me a few months ago. Haha! Anyway, I say I can try, so I try to search online again if there's any free tutorial/instruction and I found one. Nearly everyone can tell this is Gutetama after I show them and my colleague's boss like it too I think. LOL! After making this, I couldn't help thinking why is Gutetama so famous, so I went t search some videos in Youtube and after watching the clip. I also couldn't help but felt in love with Gutetama too. I bet I can make a better Gutetama in the near future.

Crochet Sushi
These sushi are seriously cuteness overloaded! Fell in love the moment I saw it online. So I try to search for tutorials/instructions online. I found the instructions in Youtube by 2 different Youtubers. The salmon & egg sushi are more easier to make as compared to the shrimp sushi. The shrimp sushi is smaller in size and much more difficult to make as you need to keep changing colors for the shrimp. After adding in the eyes & mouth to the big sushi, it just look soooooo cute. I do not have a smaller eye at the moment, will add it in to the shrimp sushi after I buy.

Crochet Beret
Tada!!!! Done, took me around 2 days to complete (around 3-4 hours a day). I got the design from http://www.redheart.com/. There are a lot of crochet charts in there, from beanie to gloves to ornaments, for beginner to intermediate. If you already know how to crochet, I bet the charts are of no difficulties to you. Do support them by buying their yarns and other products. I quite happy with my end product and I think it look nice, although it is a different design from what Danboard is wearing. I think I can make more next time.

Crochet Needle Case
These are tapestry needles, not the normal needle used for sewing.I just thought I need a nice & neat casing to keep my needles in order. So I made this, original design was meant for crochet hooks. Very soon I will have a few more needles to add in.

Crochet Hat for Danboard
I wanted to crochet a beanie/beret for myself but then again I'm just a beginner. So! I made a small beanie for Danboard while learning the techniques and changing yarn colour. I seriously think it turns out quite well for my Danboard (who is my model). Time to start making one for myself =D

Crochet Kitty Keychain
This is a DIY kit that I bought from Carousell. Found it cute but didn't expect it to be so big size. Haha, I gave it to my colleague and she treat it like a stress ball!!! But she like it lah.. lol, imagine this is the first time I tried to crochet a ball and I have to go google what certain crochet language meant. I think the end product is quite cute but think I should make it smaller, lol. Next time will try.
